Hello and Welcome to Practical Faith Daily!
I’m Karolina (Kay), writing to you from cozy Toronto, Canada.

I’m 32, proudly introverted, and a millennial who could spend hours diving into philosophy, personal growth, and all the beautiful, soul-nourishing ways we can feel more alive in our everyday lives.
I got the incredible chance to hit the “reset button” on my life—and that moment came when I discovered Overeaters Anonymous. That discovery changed everything. For the longest time, I thought I was just weak, broken and pathetic… but it turned out, I was struggling with something real: addiction. OA didn’t just help me achieve a healthy weight (which is a miracle in and of itself)—it gave me tools, hope, and a completely new perspective on myself and this wild, wonderful ride called life.
Faith is something I explore every single day. That’s what this blog is: a space where I share what I’m learning as I try to walk with just a bit more peace, purpose, and presence.
Is this a religious blog? Not really. It’s not tied to one specific belief system. But it is grounded in the idea that believing in something bigger than myself brings a little more ease into life. And honestly, I think we could all use a little more of that—a breath, a pause, a sense that we’re not alone in this.
You can read my full story [HERE], and if anything I share resonates with you, don’t be shy—reach out. I’d truly love to connect.
Wishing you a gentle, beautiful day,
Kay
